• Enjoy the privacy of your own "home away from home". Applefield consists of our own home and two clean, modern guest houses, each with complete eat-in kitchen, living room with sofabed, master bedroom with queen sized bed. The larger guest house has a second bedroom with bunk beds and can accommodate 4-6 people. The cottage can accommodate 2-4 people. Both are fully furnished and equipped with air conditioning, washer/dryer, satellite TV, VCR, telephone, microwave, gas barbecue grill, and all accessories from linens to coffee maker. We also have a luxury guest camper, fully equipped as above, except the phone and washer/dryer are shared with our house and the TV is antenna.  The camper has separate queen sized bedroom and can easily accommodate 2-4 people.  Each refrigerator is stocked with breakfast items for the first few days.

• Our family-friendly houses are surrounded by acres of lawn, ideal for children's games, swimming in the pool or just relaxing in the sun and enjoying the views while you barbecue on the wrap-around deck or under the large pavilion attached to the cottage, or on the camper-pool deck.

• Whether you're coming to this area for the Baseball Hall of Fame, Dreams Park, Glimmerglass Opera, Soccer Hall of Fame, or Wright National Soccer Campus, Applefield is ideally located just minutes between Oneonta and Cooperstown in the heart of Leatherstocking Country. The area has an abundance of intriguing antique and gift stores. Gilbert Lake State Park, with fishing, swimming and hiking, is just 15 minutes away, while easy day trips can be made to the Finger Lakes, Catskill Mountains, Howe Caverns, etc.

• Applefield is about 1700 ft. above sea level in a rolling lush mountainous region.  Our summer days are balmy, warm and sometimes humid, while at night a sweater or light jacket is just the thing.

• We specialize in "Dreams Park" accommodations, family reunions, group vacations, and, most importantly, we cater to the family.  References available upon request.
